Biography

Sean Blaze, a singer, songwriter, and artist, is a remarkable talent with an unmatched passion for his craft and a delivery that is unparalleled. Born in Leicester and raised in Antigua, Sean's musical journey has been anything but ordinary. From a young age, Sean was involved in music, performing at talent shows and writing songs. While reggae and calypso played a prominent role in his formative years, Sean's true musical love for hip-hop was discovered during his early teenage years when he was introduced to the work of The Fugees by his brother.

With a newfound love for hip-hop, Sean immersed himself in the genre, expanding his knowledge by religiously watching BET and MTV on Antiguan television. Upon his family's return to the UK in the early 2000s, Sean's talent for rapping began to flourish when he met Jai Deezy. Jai introduced him to the thriving Garage and Grime scene, where Sean familiarised himself with the UK music scene and developed his skills as a lyricist. Encouraged by Jai, Sean started MCing alongside him, and together they formed the Inferno Crew, gaining notoriety and performing at events throughout the country.

While studying Business and Marketing at university, Sean's passion for music never waned. Through a fortunate connection with Alex, the brother of BBC Radio 1Xtra DJ Twin B, Sean formed acquaintances within the industry. His exceptional talent caught the attention of Kingsley Slater, the owner of independent record label World Records, who featured Sean on mixtapes and compilation CDs for DJs in London.

Sean's unique delivery and ability to construct lyrics that feel like a beat playing, even when heard acapella, set him apart from others in the industry. His interest in video production led him to film interviews with successful artists like Ghetts and produce rap freestyles on a DVD titled "Blaze TV."

As a respected songwriter, Sean was approached by prominent independent labels to write songs, and he eventually formed the group Audio Pusha Men with Grime legend Lowdeep and long-term collaborator Jai Deezy. The group recorded a diverse catalogue of music and collaborated with artists from around the country, gaining interest from independent and major labels.

After fulfilling their contractual obligations, Sean decided to focus on his solo career. He released his debut mixtape, "Chef Papa Sean," which received critical acclaim from GRMDaily, SBTV, and Link Up Tv, among other UK urban music platforms. Sean's music is diverse, with each song offering a different vibe, crafted with meticulous attention to detail.

After taking a break from music to navigate through life, Sean has now returned to the studio to work on his debut projects "Caribbean Dreaming" & EvoluSean. With these projects, Sean aims to showcase the influence of his cultural background on his music. His debut single, "#Trendsetta," provides a taste of what to expect from the upcoming projects, while "Chef Papa" continues to cook up the rest of the projects.

Sean Blaze is an extraordinary artist who has dedicated over a decade to honing his skills, learning the industry, and mastering his craft. With his unmatched passion, unique delivery, and diverse musical range, Sean continues to captivate audiences and solidify his place as an exceptional talent in the music industry.
